an innovative medical device company dedicated to the engineering and implementation of affordable wound healing
Healyx Lab is an innovative medical device company dedicated to the implementation of affordable wound healing. Currently a seed stage company-in-residence at the Mountain View Fogarty Institute for Innovation, Healyx was launched in 2015 through Stanford’s Design for Extreme Affordability Program.
Healyx Labs is developing the Kyron NPWT System, the most affordable and easiest to use wound vacuum technology re-engineered for underserved markets. Our goal is to reduce hospital stays, cut costs for medical supplies to families and hospitals, and markedly decrease patient’s pain and suffering. We will initially introduce our product in the U.S. Market to further develop clinical evidence that strengthens our platform. This will enable timely, sequential implementation into select global markets. Healyx’s technology makes it possible for patients around the world to receive state of the art care.
Our collaborators, Dr. Shafquat Kundhakar, Dr. Iftekhar Mannan and Dr. Farzana Ibrahim. This group of plastic surgeons practice in the leading hospitals of Dhaka, Bangladesh. They also serve as the leading plastic surgeons in Bangladesh for the American nonprofit ReSurge International.
